hey girl, utila was the bomb, accomadations far exceded expectations, way laid back,  diving and the locals were all cool, ..., hedman alas bus highly advised, all of your people (Shantell and her son, & Javier)... planning to return this summer to experience busy season for investment opportunities. i feel utila is a diamond in the rough, tnx for all the tips on this adventure, , stay well, peace and love, mark

I stayed in The Mango Tree Penthouse apartment in Utila town. This apartment is built around a beautiful Mango tree. Conveniently located near all the dive shops and restaurants this place was perfect!!! It has an amazing view of the Caribbean from the large deck. There is a nice kitchen, with all I needed to cook meals and enjoy relaxing in the cool air conditioning. The air conditioner was a new energy efficient model nice and powerful with very little noise. The apartment is complete with wireless internet, cable and phone hook ups. There is a nice office space, a living room, dining room, bathroom, and a great master bedroom. The bed was super comfy and there was plenty of room in the closet. I really enjoyed my time at the Mango Tree apartment and I would recommend it for any one traveling to Utila.
